KEEPING YOU IN STITCHES
From the age of four when Sally’s grandmother taught her how
to sew on a treadle machine, she has shared her knowledge of
sewing with others. But not just her knowledge of sewing, but
sharing the spirit that lets others know that all things truly
are possible. Her video, Pattern Fitting For the Truly
Terrified is a good example of that philosophy. Whether she
is in a classroom, teaching a seminar, speaking at conventions,
talking on the radio or hosting her own TV show Keeping You
In Stitches, she instills inspiration in her audiences.
Sally is married, has two stepchildren, one adorable cat and does enjoy life beyond sewing. But not too far afield. Although she set out to be a nurse, life took a strange turn. She found herself spending more time sewing for other nursing students than she did taking care of patients. Her head nurse suggested that she consider sewing as a living instead of a hobby. She did exactly that.
She is also an established and recognized columnist, author, designer, avid Toastmaster, and always enjoys bringing inspiration and humor to everything she does. She truly believes in keeping people in stitches.
