Use the following three designs to add a touch of fall to your knitting projects.

From top to bottom:
Pattern A is a repeat of 37 sts, although you can omit the outer most leaves on each end for a repeat of 25. When worked as shown, the pattern creates a nice "X" where the chart repeats. Work leaves in muted green tones with a bright center motif for a more floral-looking result.
Patterns B and C are straight forward vine and leaves pattern. The 14-stitch repeat in Pattern B can be worked by stranding your yarn or in duplicate stitch. Pattern C is an 18-stitch pattern repeat. Any earth tone color will yield a pleasant result. See the Vines & Leaves Cardigan, for a pleasing color selection.
Use any of these pattern as allover motifs on a garment, or as an edge color interest. Incorporated in a garment worked sideways, Patterns B and C will be particularly striking.
Alternate bands of colored vines with bands of textured leaves for a stunning nature-inspired creation.
