This book is amazing! There are 101 quilt patterns in this soft cover book by Leisure Arts, including some of my own favorites--Broken Star, Dresden Plate, Grandmother's Fan, Sunbonnet Sue, Tree of Life, Whig Rose plus many, many more. Each pattern includes a full color photo with a little description about the quilt, step-by-step instructions with updated, labor-saving techniques, and the templates or other instructions you need to make that quilt. Some of the photos are of vintage style quilts dating to the 1930s. The book is a literal feast for the eyes, even if you never intend to make a quilt!
Another amazing thing about this book is the cost. At $24.95, each pattern (with full color photography) actually works out to cost about 25 cents! That's a real bargain--one you don't find too often! If you are a quilt enthusiast or if you know someone who is, you will want to buy this book. (Think Mother's Day, birthday, special gift, treat for yourself, and "just because!")
