Gifts bags a great finishing touch for a gift. Re-usable cloth bags work great. Another less-expensive and quick idea is to custom make paper gift bags.
You will need:
Paper bags (the thick kind with handles work great) assorted fabrics double-sided fusible web (Steam-a-Seam 2)
Making these gifts bags is just like doing fusible appliqué only you are ironing the design onto paper instead of a fabric base. Pick the design you wish to use. Trace the design onto the double-sides fusible web. Be sure when tracing that if the picture you are using is not intended for appliqué to add a small amount of length for areas that will be covered by another section. Remove one part of the paper backing and iron onto the wrong side of the fabric. Cut out the design. Place and arrange the design on the bag. Iron in place.
