Grandma's Free Pattern --- Just for you!
From approximately 1916 through the 1960's, Quilt Designer Ruby McKim "Studio Designs Worth Doing" catalogs appeared during the 1920's and 30's and were advertised in women's magazines. Ruby's work was often published in the Kansas City Star during the same time period. The first pattern she did for them was "The Pine Tree Quilt" which she also offered in her catalogs. Our version of this time-honored traditional pattern was designed by Roxy Burgard in 1980 and is suitable for a 10" pieced block with a diagonal measurement of 14-15/32".
