Pillow Case

Standard Pillowcases 20" x 31"

Supplies:
        3/4 yard of fabric for body of the case
        1/4 yard of fabric for the top border piece

Sewing Instructions:
1.    Fold the border in half lengthwise wrong sides together and press.

2.    Open up the fabric for the body of the case.  Place the right side of the border on  piece  the right side of the body piece.

3.    Stitch together using a 1/2" seam allowance. Piping, lace or other trim could be inserted into this seam.  You may want to serge or zigzag seams but regular stitching works just fine.  press seam toward the body of the case.

4.    Place right sides together of the case.  Stitch down the side and across the bottom.  Turn to the right side. Press.
