Making the Place Mats:
1) Using Center Stitch Guide, with desired decorative stitch using green thread, stitch 1" grosgrain and 3/8" satin ribbons following marked vertical lines on place mats (see Ribbon Wizard instructions). Continue in same manner, sewing ribbons along horizontal lines. Press.
2) Turn raw edges under 1/4" on 15-1/2" x 19-1/2" solid green rectangles, and press. Turn under an additional 1-1/2". Press.
3) To miter corners, place rectangle wrong side up, on a flat surface. Unfold 1-1/2" edges (leave 1/4" turned under). Measure down each edge 3" from corner point and mark with marking tool. place transparent tape between marks (see diagram 1). With right sides together, and referring to diagram, fold corner to a point, matching edges and aligning tape. Stitch along bottom edge of tape (see diagram 2).

4) Continue in same manner for remaining corners. Remove tape and trim seam to 1/4" from stitching. Turn corners to right side, and push out points. Press. Insert embellished, pre-quilted mat. Top stitch around place mat, close to inside edge of mitered border.
Making the Table Runner:
5) Apply ribbons referring to step 1. Construct 15-1/2" x 33-1/2" runner backing following place mat instructions. Finish runner in same manner as place mats.
Making the Napkins:
6) To finish napkin edges, create a 1/2" fringed hem by pulling threads starting at corners and continuing around 16" x16" green squares. At inside edge of fringe, secure with a narrow zig zag stitch, to keep edges from fraying further,
Making the Napkin Rings and Candle Covers:
7) with right sides together, stitch red and green 3-1/2" x 40" strips together, along both long edges, to form tubes. Continue in same manner with 3-1/2" x 24" strips and 5" x 40" strips. Turn tubes and press.
8) Using Center Stitch Guide, 3/8" red satin ribbon, green thread and decorative stitch, apply ribbon to top and bottom of finished edges. Keep right edge of foot parallel to edge of tube while stitching.
9) To make napkin rings, cut four 10" lengths from 3-1/2" x 40" finished tube. For candle covers, cut two 12" lengths from 3-1/2" x 24" tube. With marking tool of choice, mark a center line on the back of each small tube.
10) Stitch elastic down each center, using tight tension on elastic guide (see Elastic Wizard instructions). With wrong sides together, using a 3/8" seam, make circles, matching raw edges, aligning elastic and ribbon ends. To finish seams, trim raw edges close to seam. Turn right side out. Using a zipper foot stitch right sides together, creating a French seam.
Making the Basket Cover:
11) Using 5" x 40" tube apply ribbons in same manner as napkin rings. Mark two parallel lines horizontally down back of tube, 1-1/2" from finished edges for elastic placement. Finish basket cover following napkin ring instructions.
