Spring 2000 Issue Features:

Photos, complete instructions and a detailed diagram are available in the Spring 2000 issue of Total Embellishment Newsletter.

Embellishment Explosion #038

Three Prints and One Plain is made from three coordinating black and red knit pieces, black wool and Ultrasuede. Button loops and Chinese coins form the closure.

The Flight Jacket pattern from Saf-T-Pockets was used with slight changes. This design could be duplicated using three coordinating summer weight fabrics and fabric tubes rather than Ultrasuede strips.

Embellishment Explosion #037

Cool & Classy Vest is meant to be an easy quick summer vest. The vest shown utilized a red, blue and off white "American" print and denim. The finished garment is slightly different than the design in the newsletter. I wanted to show another option and demonstrate how the designs I share in the newsletter can and are meant to be the starting point to individual expression.
