It's A Wrap 
Wizard Attachments

This is a great cover - up for the beach or spa

Materials Needed:

• Terry cloth - see note
• Matching thread
• 2 buttons - optional
• 1/2 yd - 1" hoop/loop tape - optional ( may be used instead of buttons)
• 1 yd - 1" knit elastic ( needs to have lots of stretch)
• Bonfit � No Hands! Elastic Wizard�

Note: To calculate terry cloth yardage needed, measure across upper chest - above bust - and at hips and double the larger number.  Measure length desired.  it may be necessary to purchase two or three lengths of fabric, depending on upper chest / hip measurement plus 1/4 yd for pocket.

Cutting Instructions:

Terry cloth
2 or 3 lengths as determined above
1 regtangle 7"x9" (pocket)

Hook / loop tape - optional
2 pieces 7"

Making The Bath Wrap:
1) With right sides together, sew lengths of terry cloth together along long edges, using a 1/2" seam allowance.  Trim to width measurement needed (see diagram 1).

2) Referring to Diagram 2, cut corner curves on bottom,  This will be overlap of fronts.  Zig-Zag or overlock all raw edges.

3) Starting at left top edge and continuing across bottom to upper right corner, turn under 1" hem and machine stitch (see diagram3).

4) Note: Be sure and test a piece of elastic with terry cloth - the elastic needs to have a lot of stretch!  Across top of wrap, on wrong side, apply elastic starting 12" from right edge and ending 12" from left edge.  Use very tight tension on elastic guide (see Elastic Wizard instructions) creating the tightest gathers possible (see diagram 4) Trim excess elastic.

5) Turn under 1" for top hem. Machine stitch, stretching elastic as it is encased, to keep consistent gathers in place.

6) Zig-Zag or overlock edge of pocket.  turn 1" to wrong side along one 7" edge for top hem.  turn remaining three edges under 1/2".  Press. Stitch pocket in place.

7) Wrap finished bath wrap around upper chest, and mark placement of buttonholes or hook/loop tape closure.

8) If using buttons, make machine buttonholes, and sew loop (soft side) to left upper front on right side of wrap.  Sew hook (hard side) to upper front on wrong side of wrap.
