Multi-Colored Zippers
Victoria
White, The Secret Workshop
First
decide the length of the zipper needed for the project. The
zipper must be a separating zipper (open at the end like a jacket
zipper) and tooth zippers work best. These are the heavier duty
zipper that you would find in a jacket. Once you have decided on
length, pick two colors. If the jacket is green with a red and
purple print, you might decide to use one red and green zipper.
Buy two zippers, equal in length and size.
Separate each zipper so that you now have four different pieces.
Two of these pieces will have the zipper tab and two will not.
Now put the zippers back together but instead of zipping red to
red, zip red to green. You end up with a great zipper with
multi-colored teeth that looks great in any garment. More color -
more fun!
