This tour will be a unique
opportunity to see the fashion side of Los Angeles. We will have a private tour at the costume library of the FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) and make a stop at a L.A. designer's showroom. At Warner Bros. Studios we will go behind the scenes and visit their wardrobe department (a building the size of a football field) plus some of their famous sets. |

On Wednesday we will shop at a flea market where clothing manufacturers bring their excess fabric and notions to sell at incredible prices. A featured stop will be the garment district with its discount clothing and fabric shops. Beverly Hills is located near our hotel so we will drop by Rodeo Drive to see the sights and shop. Within walking distance of our hotel are Elegance Fabrics, International Woolens and Oriental Silks plus many other interesting shops. More surprise visits are currently in the works. Hurry and sign-up so you don't miss out on the fun! |

Some call Vancouver B.C. the most beautiful city in the world. Vancouver is surrounded by water on three sides with a backdrop of beautiful mountains. This multicultural city offers many treats for the eye and the palette. We will visit Chinatown for interesting fabrics, the Punjabi Market for wonderful Indian silks, trims & saris plus many shops featuring imported European woolens. |
We'll visit a women's clothing manufacturer and buy at their fabric outlet, pay a visit to a wholesaler of European fabrics and yarns, and see silk cloth being woven on Granville Island. We will view a private collection of vintage couture clothing and have Lisa Julson of the Get Creative! Show http://www.getcreativeshow.com join us to share some of her favorite places to shop. |
